4/7/12 - Celebrating Goodbye

My roommate left yesterday.  He moved in last year as a stranger, a tenant.  He left as a cherished friend.  Damian, if you are reading this, I miss you already.  You had better keep your promise to stay in touch buddy. :)

We went out to dinner Thursday night, not to celebrate his leaving, but to celebrate friendship and new possibilities.

Damian and my cousin Gloria at a late night game of chess.

Bentley and Nonni both love Damian,
but Nonni adores him!
She is a rescue dog and was afraid of men.
Not anymore!  :)

Best wishes Damian!  Happy trails my friend.

    1. @ Sandra - I truly did luck out. I am blessed. I love that you called Nonni and Bentley my friends. That is SO true. I hope Damian reads your comment wishing him well too. You're so sweet! HugZ 2u MadSnapper.

  2. Can't have amazing beginnings without celebrating a few endings. Life keeps getting better and better and I know you're both gonna have a blast as you head out on your separate adventures!

    1. @ Maria - one of my books is titled, "New Beginnings." I've been thinking about what to call it if that title is not available and just the other day I thought, "Amazing Beginnings." Too funny! I'm not sure how much of an adventure we'll be having but at least Damian didn't go too far away and San Antonio is a great place to visit! :)

    1. @ Ann - he is so camera shy! I gave him a CD that included these photos before he left. I think he was actually glad he had given in to being "snapped." :) Thank you for the best wishes. I hope he reads this too. HugZ!

    3. @ Anonymous - It is SO great to hear from you! I said a prayer for you just this morning and asked God if He could please make a way to let us know you are okay. How ironic is that!?! Nonni definitely has fun (Bentley too). They are enjoying the multiple walks and outings every day but she still hopes in her heart to give you a hug again. We won't get lost. I promise. You either. OK? Thanks for staying in touch! We love you and miss you. xoxoxo
