11/16/12 - Consumption, Or Not?

In a recent blog post I stated that I very rarely buy anything non-consumable.  It has been a concerted effort on my part to make no purchases this past year.  So, I have a question for you – If Bentley chews his toys up, is that consumption?  Bwahhh!

He’d go through one a day if I let him.  I bought this one at a 75% off after-Halloween sale.  I rounded the corner and he was hugging it.  I did not pose him for this picture.  He does that perfectly well all on his own.  What a ham! :)

At 75% off, since he likes it so much, I should have bought him two.  Now that would be consumption run amuck.

Happy Friday everyone.  Have a great weekend.

  1. it counts as consumable but only after he consumes or destroys it and you have to replace it... adorable...

  2. @ Sandra - thank you! I look forward to your comment every morning! Adorable yes, I agree - greatly prejudicely. :) Consumable it is. He'll get more toys. LOL.

  3. ROFL. Yes I would say that counts as consumption. I hope Bentley isn't as hard on his toys as Duke is on his. Toys don't last Duke very long and if they are squeaky ones or stuffed he has them destroyed in minutes.

    1. @ Ann - Bentley and Duke are simpatico - maybe cousins! LOL. Bentley lives to get to the stuffing or squeaker, the faster the better, and then he is SO proud! :)
